Overview

SkySalat helps you view sunrise, sunset, salat (prayer) times, and in-flight prayer schedules. We designed the app to keep your information on your device. We do not sell your personal data.

Information we collect

SkySalat may access or store the following, depending on how you use the app:

• Location — only when you tap “Use my location.” Location is used to calculate sun and prayer times for your position. We do not continuously track your location in the background.
• Coordinates and flight details — latitude, longitude, airports, waypoints, times, and calculation settings that you enter for sun and prayer calculations.
• App preferences — your language choice, selected tabs, and saved form settings so the app remembers your last inputs.

How we use your information

Information is used solely to:

• Calculate sunrise, sunset, and salat times
• Compute in-flight prayer schedules and related displays
• Remember your settings and inputs between sessions
• Display content in your chosen language (English or Arabic)

All calculations are performed on your device. SkySalat does not require an account.

Data storage

Settings and inputs are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. They remain on your device unless you reset saved settings in the app or uninstall SkySalat.

Data sharing

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties. SkySalat does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that collect personal data.

Children’s privacy

SkySalat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

• Deny location permission and enter coordinates manually instead
• Use “Reset saved settings” in the app to clear stored preferences and inputs
• Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
